EZ and Ann Budd are clashing in my head. I'm knitting my first sweater, bottom up, in the round, with size 9 needles (after socks, they feel like tree trunks). It's a gorgeous shade of lilac and it's bulky, so it's going fairly quickly, but it's also going slowly. (Hey, it's Thursday. Nobody has to make sense on Thursday.) Yes, I know that when you ARE bulky you shouldn't WEAR bulky, but this will be so spectacular when it's done that nobody will even THINK the word.
Pictures would be nice, wouldn't they?
Yeah. A camera would be nice, too.
Well, the big birthday is coming up in 10 days, so maybe I'll treat myself to something cute and small. Read: not bulky.

I made my first sweater this year, too. A lovely blue/blue sweater with cabled sleeves. It was Baseball from Knitty. You'll be so proud of yourself when you're done!
